This Privacy Policy explains how Sworn In LLC (“Sworn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit swornin.app(the “Site”) and sign up for or subscribe to Sworn.
Scope. This policy covers the Sworn marketing and subscription website at swornin.app. The Sworn application (get.swornin.app), which studios and their clients use day to day, is governed by a separate privacy policy and terms. Information your clients provide inside the app — such as consent forms, identification, and medical history — is handled under those separate app terms, not this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to provide the Sworn subscription. Specifically:
Information you give us directly
- Contact information — your name, email address, studio or business name, and (if you provide it) phone number, when you request early access, contact us, or create an account.
- Account and subscription information — the studio details and plan tier you select when you subscribe.
Payment information
- When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number and payment credentials are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on Sworn’s servers. We receive only limited information from Stripe necessary to manage your subscription, such as confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and your billing status.
Information collected automatically
- Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, collected through standard server logs and any analytics we use, to operate and improve the Site.
We do not collect or store, on this Site, the client consent, identification, or medical information that is entered inside the Sworn application. That data lives in the application under its own terms.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and early-access requests;
- Create and manage your Sworn account and subscription;
- Process payments through Stripe;
- Send you service-related communications about your account, billing, and the product;
- Send you marketing communications about Sworn, which you can opt out of at any time (see Section 6);
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Service providers who help us operate, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, our email-delivery provider, and analytics providers — each only to the extent needed to perform their function.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sworn, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — if Sworn is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
4. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. Payment card data is handled by Stripe under their PCI-compliant systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data retention
We keep contact and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.
6. Your choices and rights
Marketing opt-out. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. You may also email us to opt out.
Access and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — though Sworn does not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
7. Cookies and tracking
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where applicable, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
8. Children
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this Site. (Note: any handling of minors’ information in connection with tattoo consent occurs inside the Sworn application under its separate terms and applicable law, not through this Site.)
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
